PDC-Eaton Moeller series xPole - SPCT2 Surge Protection Device
The SPCT2 surge arrester types are the most common installed surge protection devices designed for all low voltage electrical installations. SPCT2 is used for the protection of low voltage distribution systems against transient overvoltage caused by direct and indirect lightning strokes and switching operations. This surge protection devices are often required by the national wiring regulations. The Type 2 SPDs are installed in each electrical switchboard to prevent the spread of overvoltage in any electrical installations and protect various loads.
