PDC-Eaton Moeller series xPole - SPBT12 Surge Protection Device
It provides protection against transient overvoltage caused by direct lighting strokes for lighting protection levels III and IV acc. to IEC62305. The SPBT12 is a combined type 1 and type 2 device and is suitable for a wide range of surge protection in a large number of systems; especially in buildings with just one distribution board and risk of direct and indirect lightning strikes. Usually when an external lightning protection system is installed, an internal lightning protection system is also required for which the type 1/2 combination offers the best solution. They are used to protect consumer systems against transient overvoltages caused by direct and indirect lightning strokes and switching operations. SPBT12 is used for the protection of low voltage distribution systems against transient overvoltage caused by direct and indirect lightning strokes and switching operations.
