The EMC2 series, which is part of the xEnergy Basic family, combines the modularity of Eaton’s established EP assembly system with novel, user-friendly features. With a view to meeting a broad range of power distribution needs, the EMC2 enclosures are equipped with large flange openings at the top and bottom that match our comprehensive portfolio of F3A flanges. The enclosure depth of 270 mm has been carefully chosen to match both the available flange openings and the EP assembly system to further simplify the wiring work. All xEnergy Basic EMC2 models are rated IP55 overall, and IP2XC with open doors and closed protection covers for enhanced personnel protection. Rugged by design, the EMC2 series comes with a mechanical impact rating of IK09. This high degree of protection also makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications, including industrial power distribution.
