Eaton offers a complete range of compact residual current devices for fault current/residual current and additional protection, suitable for residential and small commercial use.
Features
Type -kv: Highly reliable against unwanted tripping. Compulsory for circuits where personal injury or damage to property may occur (ÖVE/ÖNORM E 8001-1 § 12.1.6).
Tripping is line voltage-independent, suitable for “fault current/residual current protection” and “additional protection”
Delayed types suitable for standard fluorescent tubes with/without electronical ballast (30mA: 30 units per phase, 100mA: 90 units per phase)
Type -R: To avoid unwanted tripping due to X-ray devices
Type -S: Selective AC-sensitive RCD, compulsory for systems with downstream surge arresters (ÖVE/ÖNORM E 8001-1 § 12.1.5)
Residual current devices suitable for standard busbar connection to other devices
Type -A, -S/A: Protects against special forms of non-smoothed residual pulsating DC
The 4-pole device can also be used for 3- and 2-pole connection
Twin-purpose terminal (lift/open-mouthed)
Universal tripping signal (red-green)switch, for PXL, PXK, Z-A. Auxiliary switch can be mounted subsequently
Function
For fault current/residual current protection and additional protection
Benefit
A complete spectrum of compact residual current devices for a wide range of applications
